About Arundel Firecare, Security & Electrical
Arundel Firecare, Security & Electrical is the merger of two well-established, independently operated fire and security companies with deep roots in the South of England. Together, we bring over three decades of combined experience in fire safety, security and electrical services to businesses and homeowners across Hampshire, West Sussex and the wider South Coast.
We are part of the New Path Group - a growing family of independent regional fire and security companies united by a shared commitment to honest, practical advice and first-class service.
Our Story
Arundel Electrical was founded in 2006, initially as an electrical contractor serving domestic clients across West Sussex. In 2008, the company expanded into fire and security services, steadily growing its reputation as a trusted local provider for businesses and homeowners throughout the region. Based in Littlehampton, the company built its business on the values that remain central to everything we do today: technical competence, transparent pricing and a willingness to tell clients what they actually need - not simply what will generate the largest invoice.
By the time the company joined the New Path Group, Arundel had established itself as one of the leading independent fire, security and electrical contractors on the South Coast, with accreditations including NICEIC, SSAIB and BAFE, and a client base spanning commercial premises, residential properties and public sector organisations across West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and beyond.
FireCare Security & Electrical was established in 2010 in Eastleigh, Hampshire, initially focused on fire safety services. Over the following decade, the company developed its service portfolio to encompass security systems, electrical services and health and safety - building a substantial client base across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Surrey and into London. FireCare joined the New Path Group in 2020 and became the group's flagship platform business, providing the operational foundation from which the group's wider expansion has been built.
FireCare earned a strong reputation in the Hampshire market for honest, pragmatic advice and a quality of service that did not waver regardless of the size or value of the job. That reputation, combined with BAFE SP203 accreditation, SSAIB certification and a team of experienced fire and security engineers, made FireCare one of the most respected operators in the region.
The two companies have merged as Arundel Firecare, Security & Electrical, combining the geographical reach, technical capabilities and client relationships of both businesses into a single, stronger operation. Clients across Hampshire and West Sussex now benefit from the full depth of expertise that both companies have built - a broader range of services, more engineering resource, wider geographic coverage and the financial strength and support of the New Path Group behind us.
New Path Group
Arundel Firecare, Security & Electrical is part of the New Path Group - a family of independent regional fire and security companies headquartered in Southampton. The group was established in 2020 with a clear purpose: to bring together like-minded, well-run fire and security businesses and give them the financial stability, shared resource and operational support to continue delivering the independent, personal service their clients value - while growing their capabilities over time.
New Path group companies cover all aspects of fire safety, security and electrical services. Alongside Arundel Firecare, Security & Electrical, the group includes specialist companies for passive fire protection, AV services, access control, security monitoring and more - meaning our clients have access to a broader range of capabilities than any single independent company could provide on its own, whilst retaining the local presence and direct accountability they expect.

How We Work
We are not in the business of overselling. Our engineers assess what you actually need, explain the options clearly and recommend solutions that are proportionate to your premises, your risk and your budget. If something is not strictly necessary, we will tell you. If you need something urgently and there is a lower-cost way to achieve it, we will say so.
That approach has built us a client base that comes back year after year and refers us to others without hesitation. It has also earned us the accreditations that matter most to the organisations we work with - BAFE SP203, SSAIB, NICEIC and FIRAS through our sister company Aran Fire Protection - because those bodies assess not just what we install, but how we do it.
Our Accreditations
We hold the accreditations that matter most in the fire, security and electrical sectors - independently assessed, regularly renewed and backed by the professional bodies that insurers, enforcement authorities and building owners rely on.
BAFE SP203
third-party certification for fire detection and alarm system companies. The standard recognised by insurers and enforcement authorities for fire alarm installation and maintenance.
SSAIB
Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board certification for intruder alarm and CCTV system installation. Meets NSI Gold standard for insurance-approved systems.
NICEIC
the UK's leading electrical contractor regulatory body. All our electrical work is NICEIC-approved and certified to BS 7671.
OZEV
authorised EV charge point installer, listed on the official OZEV approved installer register.
FIRAS
third-party passive fire protection certification, held by our specialist sister company Aran Fire Protection.
See our Accreditations page for a full explanation of each certification and what it means for your premises.
