Arundel FireCare, Security and Electrical Retains SSAIB Certification

On 26 August 2026, we successfully passed our annual SSAIB surveillance audit, retaining our certification.In this blog post, we cover what the certification means for our customers and the business.

What is SSAIB certification?

The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is one of the UK’s leading certification bodies for companies working within the security industry.

SSAIB certification covers a range of security services, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control, fire detection and remote monitoring. Certified companies are independently assessed to ensure they continue to meet the required standards in areas such as installation, maintenance, technical competence and business processes.

For us at Arundel, FireCare, Security and Electrical, maintaining this certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to professional standards across our security work.

Importantly, SSAIB certification is not a membership or subscription that simply continues without assessment. Once certified, businesses are subject to regular surveillance audits and ongoing assessment to ensure they continue to meet the required standards.
